NC Chinese Business Association (NCCBA) is hosting a combined happy hour with First Flight Venture Center.
Are you a start-up company founder who are interested in knowing how to provide equity incentives to your employees? Want to know how to structure the financing through venture capital? Or simply just want to hear some stories of NC start-up companies from a Business Attorney’s perspective?
Do you want to know what are the “Keys to the Success of Start-Ups”?
Come to the Event and seize the chance to hear from our special Guest Speaker– Attorney Fred Hutchinson, Founding Partner of Hutchinson Law Firm, and to know what are the “Keys to the Success of Start-Ups”.
Working as attorney for a number of successful start-up companies in North Carolina, and past Chair of Board of Directors of First Flight Venture Center, the incubator of Life Science and Technology companies in RTP, Attorney Hutchinson will be open to discuss with our members and answer your questions from his experienced business and legal perspectives.

Introduction of Our Special Guest– Attorney Fred Hutchinson
Fred’s outstanding leadership and unstinting support of clients is the key to Hutchison PLLC’s bedrock philosophy. He has also served as the Chairman of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, the Chair of the Business Innovation Technology Advancement Center, an incubator for early stage companies, the Chair of the Triangle Community Foundation and as founding Chair of The Sports Council in Raleigh.
Fred is a past Chair of the Board of Directors of the First Flight Venture Center, a nonprofit organization which operates an incubator for technology and life science companies in the Research Triangle Park. Additionally, he has served as the Chair of the Board of Directors of NC IDEA, a non-profit corporation offering grants to early stage companies.
Fred has been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America and is regularly recognized by Business North Carolina as one of the best corporate lawyers in the State. Electronic Business magazine recognized him as one of the top 10 technology lawyers in the country in 1990 and Business Leader Magazine recognized him as the 2007 Entrebizneur of the Year. Additionally in 2007, he was the recipient of the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, the highest civilian honor awarded by the state of North Carolina.
