Speakers:
SVN|HPW Commercial and SVN|Hotels CEO Sanjay Mundra has been involved in the hospitality business for more than 30 years. As a former owner, developer, operator and broker of numerous, large hotel projects, Mr. Mundra brings with him not only the knowledge and experience an owner or operator requires, but their perspective as well. Mr. Mundra, is a graduate of the University of Bombay and the MBA program at Campbell University, He has been a successful commercial real estate entrepreneur since founding First American and the Soleil Group in the early 1990’s. Under his leadership, SVN|Hotels will continue to grow and establish itself as a leader in the hotel brokerage industry.
SVN|Hotels SVP Jeff Roike brings with him over 30 years of national hotel experience with major hotel chains Marriott International, Hilton Worldwide and Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide. Over his career he has acquired a thorough understanding of hotels and hospitality, with extensive experience in hotel acquisitions, openings, operations, renovations and disposition. This knowledge and experience afford Mr. Roike the unique position of representing, promoting and guiding clients and hotel advisors through the complex process of hotel brokerage in the ever-changing hospitality market
Dr. Daniel Cheng is a commercial real estate advisor at SVN|HPW Commercial| SVN Hotels. He specializes in the marketing, disposition and acquisition of investment properties, handling all aspects of buyer and seller representation. Dr. Cheng’s experience in real estate includes sales and purchasing income producing properties, value-added properties, asset management and business acquisitions for local, national and international investors. Moreover, he collaborates with immigration attorneys to help his clients’ L1 visa and immigration needs by acquisition of appropriate business or real estate projects.
Dr. Cheng graduated from Duke University with his PhD, and currently is the President of North Carolina Chinese Business Associations (NCCBA). During his tenure he has helped build a strong relationship between the Chinese/Chinese-American business owners/investors and local businesses by promoting local investment opportunities and organizing workshops for business opportunities in a wide range of fields. Under his leadership, the NCCBA has bridged the friendship cities of Knightdale, NC and Liaoyuan China. He has been a member of Triangle Real Estate Investor Association (TREIA) and Chinese Christian Mission Church for more than 10 years, and a member Carolinas Chinese Chamber of Commerce (CCCC) since 2017.
